COOL ART GIFT GALLERY

In the past, TOHYF has put on citywide COOL ART visual art exhibitions of artwork created by youth involved in our visual arts workshops, providing an introduction into the professional art community for these young artists. In showcasing their artwork in a professional gallery, youth receive positive recognition for their accomplishments, thereby bolstering their self-esteem.

COOL ART events bring together diverse community members and foster support for arts education for youth. Successful COOL ART exhibits have been held at venues such as: Fox Studios, The Brewery Arts Colony, the Egyptian Theatre, the Consulate Generals of Mexico and the Czech Republic in Los Angeles, the House of Blues, the Skirball Cultural Center, and the Armand Hammer Museum of Art and Cultural Center.

Artworks from these exhibits can be acquired for a suggested donation. (Shipping and handling is included for California donors only.) COOL ART pieces can also be shipped to friends and family with a free personalized greeting card inscribed with a personal message. Select from an array of unique prints created in a variety of media. Every donation is tax-deductible to the full extent of the law and goes directly to supporting all of our arts education programs for at-risk youth.
